Drunk Man Run Over by Car in Keelung After Lying in Roadway

A man in Keelung, Taiwan, was run over by a car after allegedly being found drunk and lying in the middle of the road. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when a 60-year-old driver, identified as Mr. Ou, was exiting a parking lot onto Xiangfeng Street. According to reports, his vision was obstructed by parked vehicles, causing him to not see the 46-year-old man, identified as Mr. Li, lying on the road.

The black SUV slowly drove over Mr. Li, causing the vehicle to visibly rise. Mr. Ou immediately stopped and discovered Mr. Li trapped beneath the vehicle. Emergency services were called, and firefighters used equipment to lift the car and rescue the injured man. Mr. Li sustained abrasions, bruises, and burns. He was reportedly disoriented due to excessive alcohol consumption and unable to provide details about the incident.
