Dubai Launches Club Accelerators Programme to Boost Sports Sector

The Dubai Sports Council has officially launched the 'Club Accelerators Programme,' a significant initiative designed to bolster the emirate's sports sector. This program is a cornerstone of the 'Dubai Sports Sector Strategic Plan 2033,' focusing specifically on the development of sports clubs.

The program's objectives are multifaceted. It aims to foster institutional and professional transformation within both government and private clubs. By enhancing their competitiveness and attractiveness to investors, the initiative seeks to increase the sports sector's economic impact, measured by its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Furthermore, the Club Accelerators Programme is committed to nurturing national talent. This aligns with Dubai's ambition to solidify its position as a leading international sports hub. The launch event, held at Emirates Towers, was attended by prominent sports figures, leaders, and club executives, underscoring the program's importance and the collaborative effort involved in its implementation.
