Dubai Open Volleyball Academies Championship ends on high note

The inaugural Dubai Open Volleyball Academies Championship has wrapped up with considerable success, marking a significant step in the Dubai Sports Council's (DSC) mission to cultivate young athletes. The tournament, a collaboration between the DSC, the UAE Volleyball Association, and Sports Mania, is designed to identify promising talent and integrate them into national clubs and teams. The event saw robust participation, with 42 teams representing 19 academies and clubs from around the country competing. Notable participants included Al Wasl, Hatta, and other prominent clubs. The championship concluded with a ceremony where trophies and medals were awarded to the winners across various age categories. Officials present included Ahmed Salem Al Mahri from the DSC, Abdullah Al Duhoil from the UAE Volleyball Association, and representatives from Sports Mania, underscoring the collaborative effort to boost volleyball in the region.
