Dubai Police Impound Nearly 500 Vehicles for Unpaid Traffic Fines

Dubai Police have seized and impounded 497 vehicles during the first half of 2026 as part of intensified campaigns against traffic violations. Brigadier Juma Salem Bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Traffic, revealed that these vehicles had significant outstanding fines, with some owners failing to renew their vehicle registrations for years.
