Dupaul ties former foreign pitcher for 10th on CPBL all-time wins list

Brothers' foreign pitcher Brock Dupaul continues to etch his name in Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) history. The 38-year-old right-hander secured his fifth win of the season on Saturday, leading the CTBC Brothers to an 8-2 victory over the Fubon Guardians.

Dupaul delivered a masterful performance, pitching five scoreless innings on just 71 pitches. He allowed only two hits, issued no walks, and struck out four batters, lowering his season ERA to an impressive 1.73. His efficiency on the mound was remarkable, with 50 of his pitches being strikes.

With this win, Dupaul achieved a significant milestone, recording his 76th career victory in the CPBL. This ties him with Feng Shen, a former foreign pitcher for the Brother Elephants, for 10th place on the league's all-time wins list. Dupaul is now closing in on the 9th spot, currently held by Chen Yu-hsun with 80 wins.

In his seven seasons with the Brothers, Dupaul has compiled a stellar record of 76 wins and 37 losses, with a career ERA of 2.72. He has pitched 924.1 innings, thrown 14,317 pitches, and recorded 831 strikeouts against only 164 walks, solidifying his reputation as one of the most dominant foreign pitchers in recent CPBL history.
