Dutch Prince Bernhard Sells All Business Interests

Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands is divesting all his business holdings, a move announced via a press release. The significant sale includes his stake in the F1 circuit at Zandvoort, his interest in Hilversum's Media Park, and various real estate properties.

His business partners, Menno de Jong and Coen Groeneveld, are acquiring these assets. While specific financial terms were not disclosed, the sale marks a complete exit from private and commercial real estate for the prince. This comes after public attention was drawn a few years ago to his extensive property portfolio, reportedly including over a hundred houses in Amsterdam alone.

With this transition, Prince Bernhard is redirecting his focus towards new entrepreneurial endeavors within the Artificial Intelligence (AI) sector. He also intends to maintain his involvement in motorsports. The F1 races at Zandvoort will cease after next year. The 56-year-year-old prince also made headlines earlier this year with the announcement of his divorce from Annette Sekrève after 25 years of marriage. They have three children together.
