Rayados de Monterrey is reportedly targeting Mexican national team captain Edson Álvarez as a key reinforcement for the Apertura 2026 season. The club's sporting director, Dennis te Klose, is said to be determined to bring the midfielder back to Mexico to bolster the squad, which will be managed by Matías Almeyda.
