Paglum Adventist Secondary School, one of the oldest educational institutions in Western Highlands, is currently in a state of chaos. The situation escalated dramatically when a fight broke out between students, resulting in two individuals being rushed to Mt Hagen General Hospital with serious injuries. Both students are now fighting for their lives.

Quick intervention by police and education authorities helped to bring the immediate fighting under control. However, the underlying tensions that led to the violent confrontation remain a concern. School officials and local leaders are working to de-escalate the situation and prevent further unrest.
