Ekiti 2026: Over 1m voters to elect next gov

As Ekiti State gears up for the governorship election on June 20, 2026, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially presented the updated voter register, listing 1,059,660 registered voters. This crucial step, mandated by the Electoral Act, signifies INEC's commitment to transparency and the integrity of the electoral process. The Electoral Act requires that 30 days before the election, the register of voters must be published and presented to the political parties.
