Ekiti Decides: David Mark presents ADC flag to Bejide, rallies supporters ahead of election

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) concluded its campaign for the Ekiti State governorship election with a grand finale rally in Ado-Ekiti. National Chairman David Mark presented the party's flag to governorship candidate Dare Bejide, symbolizing the mandate the party hopes he will carry to the Government House.

Addressing a crowd of supporters, Mark, a former senate president, urged residents to vote massively for the ADC, expressing strong confidence in the party's victory. He thanked party faithful for their unwavering support throughout the campaign, framing the election as a pivotal opportunity for the people of Ekiti to chart a new political course.

Bejide, receiving the flag, thanked the party leadership and asserted that the ADC in Ekiti has established a formidable political structure capable of winning the governorship. He emphasized the party's strengthened grassroots presence across all wards since he emerged as the candidate, noting that the ADC has united politicians from diverse backgrounds, enhancing its electoral prospects.

I want to tell our leaders that we have the best ADC coalition in any state in Nigeria. Since I emerged as the party’s candidate, I have worked to ensure that the party has structures across all wards in Ekiti.

The rally also featured remarks from the National Women Leader, Naomi Abel, who commended women for their support and urged them to translate it into votes. She appealed to Bejide to prioritize women if elected, acknowledging their significant role in the campaign.
