Ekiti govt orders free treatment for rescued worshippers

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has mandated that the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) provide comprehensive and free medical care to worshippers recently rescued from a kidnapping incident.

The directive ensures that all medical expenses associated with the victims' treatment will be covered. The worshippers were abducted on April 28 from the Eda-Oniyo Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) and have since been under medical supervision at EKSUTH. They will remain hospitalized until they are certified fit to rejoin their families.
