Ekiti PDP candidate backs Tinubu's 2027 reelection, launches grassroots movement

Wole Oluyede, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the recent Ekiti State governorship election, has declared his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu's reelection in 2027. Oluyede expressed confidence that Tinubu can secure overwhelming support in Ekiti State through strategic grassroots mobilization and collective commitment.

To achieve this, Oluyede is preparing to launch a platform named the Oluyede Progressive Alliance for Renewed Hope Agenda. This initiative aims to foster consultations among leaders and members of various political parties within the state. The primary goal is to deepen grassroots mobilization efforts in preparation for the president's victory in the next election.

Oluyede shared that his decision to create this platform followed a strategic meeting with President Tinubu in Abuja. During the meeting, he formally presented a document titled ‘Strategic grassroots mobilisation for the Renewed Hope Agenda.’ This blueprint is designed to enhance grassroots engagement and rally broad-based support for Tinubu’s agenda across Ekiti State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
