Elbit Systems secures $370 million in US Customs and Border Protection deals

Elbit Systems of America has significantly expanded its role in U.S. border security, securing new contracts totaling more than $370 million from US Customs and Border Protection. The company, known for its advanced sensors and surveillance technology, will undertake delivery and installation work through May 2029.

While the specific scope of these latest contracts remains undisclosed, Elbit has already established a substantial presence along the U.S.-Mexico border. Through prior agreements valued in the hundreds of millions, the company has been instrumental in the "Smart Border" project. This initiative includes the deployment and operation of numerous electronic surveillance towers, radar systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles in Arizona.

These deployed systems are crucial for real-time monitoring of the border, feeding vital surveillance data directly to the U.S. Border Patrol.
