Elmar Remains Estonia's Top Private Radio Station with 196,000 Weekly Listeners

Elmar, Estonia's leading private radio station, continues to hold its top position, with a recent radio survey revealing that an average of 196,000 people tune in weekly. This figure marks the best performance among all private radio stations in the country.

The station, which focuses on playing Estonian music, also dominates the charts in daily and monthly listenership. It reaches approximately 78,000 listeners each day and a total of 229,000 listeners over the course of a month, solidifying its broad appeal.

Andres Panksepp, Elmar's chief editor, commented on the dynamic nature of the radio industry. He noted that the adage 'What is done today is not neglected tomorrow' doesn't hold true for long in radio. "The next survey is already being prepared, and listeners are already evaluating us, but we will only find out their opinion in a few months," Panksepp stated, highlighting the continuous cycle of audience assessment and the time lag in receiving feedback.
