Emilio Treviño seeks to consolidate growth at Copa México

Mexican diver Emilio Treviño is preparing to compete in the Copa México in Guadalajara, a significant event for his career. He views the competition as a crucial opportunity to test his skills against high-caliber opponents and refine his performance ahead of the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games in the Dominican Republic.

Treviño, who studies at the University of Texas A&M, shared his enthusiasm for competing in Mexico. "I am very excited and happy to be able to compete in Mexico," he stated. "The Copa México represents a great opportunity for me and the whole team. I am sure I will do a good job; it is an excellent test against great rivals, which will allow us to raise our performance with a view to the Central American Games."

He acknowledged that last year did not yield the desired results but feels this year presents a fresh chance. "Last year, I did not get the expected results, but now is the time," Treviño said, signaling his determination to succeed on home soil.
