Emir of Ilorin blesses APC candidates backed by Governor Abdulrazaq

The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has officially endorsed and blessed the candidates backed by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State. The royal blessing was given at the Emir's palace as thousands of APC leaders and members gathered to present the party's candidates for their support.

The forecourt of my palace has been filled up with your supporters since the morning. Is today the voting day or you only came for familiarisation? I pray to God that whatever steps taken by Sadauna Ngeri (governor) shall be divinely blessed.

Led by the state APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, the delegation included prominent party chieftains and all APC candidates. Among them were the Speaker of the state House of Assembly and gubernatorial candidate, Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi, as well as senatorial, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly candidates. The Emir commended Governor AbdulRazaq for his "transformative programmes" and described him as a "man of virtue and achievements," praying for his continued success and the party's victory in the upcoming polls.

Following the visit, Hon Danladi spoke to reporters, assuring that steps are being taken to unite all stakeholders within the party. He expressed confidence in Governor AbdulRazaq and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to advance Kwara and Nigeria. Danladi mentioned that a reconciliation committee has been established to address any grievances, emphasizing that peace and development are intertwined. He projected a clean sweep for the APC, stating, "By the grace of God, 35-0 is assured and APC will carry the day once again."
