EPL: Ezri Konsa completes £51m move to Arsenal

Arsenal has secured the signing of defender Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa for a reported £51 million. Arsenal's sporting director, Andrea Berta, praised Konsa's attributes, noting his athleticism, composure, and tactical intelligence. Berta highlighted Konsa's versatility, being comfortable at both centre-back and right-back, which will add valuable depth and maintain the team's high defensive standards. The Gunners had also considered Jarrell Quansah of Bayer Leverkusen before finalizing the agreement with Aston Villa for Konsa. This move provides manager Mikel Arteta with greater flexibility in his defensive options.
