Equa Bank disappears from Czech market as Raiffeisenbank takes over remaining accounts

Equa Bank has finally disappeared from the Czech banking market. Raiffeisenbank completed the last stage of the integration and transferred the remaining accounts of former Equa Bank customers to its Chytrý účet tariff.

The move ends a transitional period that lasted several years for thousands of clients. The transfer had been taking place since September, when Raiffeisenbank began moving the remaining former Equa Bank accounts under the new tariff.

Equa Bank’s name is therefore no longer present as a separate bank in the Czech market, marking the completion of Raiffeisenbank’s takeover and integration process.
