Ereğli Municipality Hosts 'Ereğli Book Days'

Ereğli Municipality has initiated its 'Ereğli Book Days,' a cultural event designed to bring literature enthusiasts together with authors. The festival, which commenced with an opening ceremony attended by Mayor Umut Akpınar and other dignitaries, promises a rich program of activities for all ages.

Visitors can explore stands from various publishers, engage in discussions, and get books signed by their favorite authors. The event is envisioned as a hub for books, culture, and knowledge, offering citizens a chance to connect with literary figures and discover new works.

Mayor Akpınar highlighted the significance of these events in enriching Ereğli's cultural landscape. "We attach importance to organizations that will contribute to the cultural and artistic life of Ereğli," he stated. "In this context, we are happy to bring our city together with books, culture, and knowledge through Ereğli Book Days." He expressed his belief that the festival will significantly contribute to developing reading habits among children and young people, underscoring that a city's true strength lies in its educated citizens.

The 'Ereğli Book Days' will run daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM until June 14, offering a continuous opportunity for the community to engage with literature and culture.
