ESIG's 21st graduating class highlights military cooperation

Yaoundé, Cameroon – The graduation of the 21st class from the International War College (ESIG) has underscored the strength of Cameroon's military training programs and its robust defense partnerships. The ceremony, held at Simbock, was presided over by Joseph Beti Assomo, the Minister Delegate to the Presidency for Defense.

The event also marked the presentation of Cameroonian and French decorations awarded for the July 2025 session. General of Brigade Valère Nka, the commandant of ESIG, acknowledged the crucial support from Cameroonian authorities in developing the institution. He highlighted ESIG's status as a reference center for high-level military cadre training.

This year's graduating class comprises 54 students, including eight women. They hail from Cameroon and twenty-two other partner countries across Africa and Europe, reflecting the college's significant regional and international reach. The diverse composition of the class emphasizes the collaborative nature of military education and cooperation fostered by ESIG.
