Estonian National Broadcaster Seeks New Expert Council Members

Estonia's National Broadcasting Council (ERR) is opening its doors to new expertise with a public competition to find three recognized members. The Riigikogu's cultural committee officially announced the open call on Monday, seeking individuals with significant knowledge and experience.

This initiative aims to bring fresh perspectives and specialized insights to the council, which oversees the national broadcaster. The selection process emphasizes finding 'recognized experts,' suggesting a desire for high-caliber individuals to guide ERR's strategic direction.

Adding to the process, Deputy Chairman Tõnis Lukas has proposed the formation of a separate commission dedicated to the selection of these new members.
