EU plans to open Cluster 6 negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova on July 14

The European Union is preparing to open negotiations on "Cluster 6 - External Relations" with Ukraine and Moldova on July 14, according to Ukrainian Pravda. This move comes after Hungary granted its consent for the decision on July 3.

The Committee of Permanent Representatives decided on July 8 to send letters to Ukraine and Moldova requesting their negotiating positions on Cluster 6. This cluster pertains to external relations, and the EU aims to adopt its joint position on this matter for both countries on July 10.

Intergovernmental conferences with Ukraine and Moldova are scheduled for July 14. These meetings will take place on the sidelines of the EU Council for General Affairs meeting. Hungary's earlier blockade of screening results for Clusters 2-6 for these two countries has now been resolved with its approval for Cluster 6.
