Euromillions: Check Friday, June 5 results, with a 159 million euro jackpot

The Euromillions lottery offered a massive jackpot of 159 million euros on Friday, June 5, marking one of the largest prize pools in the game's history. Players across several European countries had the chance to win the substantial sum.

The winning combination for the main Euromillions draw was announced as 05, 06, 16, 17, 49, with the corresponding star numbers being 02 and 12. While the top prize remained unclaimed, the draw did see two winners in Spain secure second-category prizes, each taking home over 204,000 euros.

Additionally, the "El Millón" raffle, exclusive to Spanish participants, awarded its 1 million euro prize to a lucky ticket holder in Barcelona. This separate draw ensures a guaranteed millionaire is created each Tuesday and Friday among Spanish Euromillions players.

Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, the Spanish state lottery operator, also highlighted the upcoming Extraordinary Draw of the Red Cross on Saturday, which features a top prize of 1.5 million euros per series, totaling 15 million euros in prizes.
