Eva Herzigova marries father of her children after 25 years

Eva Herzigova, the iconic Czech supermodel, has married her longtime partner, Italian businessman Giorgio Marsiaj, in an intimate ceremony in Turin. The couple, who have shared 25 years of love and raised three sons together, decided to formalize their union on Saturday, July 11.

Despite a downpour, Herzigova radiated happiness as she arrived at the San Vito church, a baroque temple adorned with white and orange roses. She was accompanied by her father, while Marsiaj and their sons, 18-year-old George, 15-year-old Philip, and 12-year-old Edward, were already present. Following the religious ceremony, the newlyweds walked hand-in-hand through the city streets towards the Palazzo Carignano for their civil ceremony, undeterred by the rain.

The 53-year-old model opted for a chic, midi-length Lanvin dress with a boho-inspired design, complemented by matching heeled sandals, a simple bouquet of white flowers, and her hair styled naturally. The celebration continued with a reception at the Michelin-starred restaurant Del Cambio, where guests enjoyed a specially curated menu and a toast from the happy couple.

Among the attendees were notable figures from the fashion world, including models Carmen Kass, Marpessa Hennink, and Mariacarla Boscono, as well as American presenter Jill Cooper. The couple's love story began in 2001 under unusual circumstances. Herzigova found herself stranded in the small coastal town of Varigotti, Italy, after international airspace closed following the September 11 terrorist attacks. What was meant to be a temporary stopover evolved into a lasting relationship.

At the time, Herzigova was already a global supermodel, famous for her iconic Wonderbra campaign. She had recently ended her marriage to Tico Torres, the drummer for Bon Jovi. Marsiaj, on the other hand, hailed from a prominent industrial family in northern Italy. Despite their different backgrounds and public profiles, their relationship has endured for over two decades.
