Evergreen Aviation Reports Record May and Year-to-Date Revenue

Evergreen Aviation announced record-breaking financial results, with its consolidated revenue for May reaching NT$22.329 billion (approximately $685 million USD), a 22.11% increase year-on-year. This marks the highest single-month consolidated revenue in the company's history. For the period from January to May 2026, cumulative consolidated revenue also set a new record, totaling NT$104.813 billion.

The strong performance in May was particularly driven by passenger revenue, which reached NT$13.36 billion, another historical high for the month. Cumulative passenger revenue from January to May stood at NT$66.963 billion, up 16.35% year-on-year, also a record for the period. Cargo revenue contributed NT$6.485 billion, showing a substantial 41.54% increase.

Despite May being a traditional off-peak season for air travel, Evergreen Aviation experienced robust demand. Geopolitical uncertainties in the Middle East limited capacity on some European routes, concentrating demand and keeping load factors high on westbound services. The Americas routes saw increasing demand as North American schools began their summer breaks and events like COMPUTEX in early June attracted travelers. Short-haul routes benefited from various public holidays in Taiwan, China, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand, leading to consistently strong bookings and high fares.

Cargo operations were buoyed by sustained demand in the air freight market. High demand for AI supply chain products, including semiconductors, servers, and cooling equipment, kept belly cargo capacity tight. Additionally, the seasonal demand for fresh produce further boosted overall air cargo volume. Evergreen Aviation plans to flexibly deploy its passenger and cargo fleets, utilizing both dedicated freighters and passenger aircraft belly space to secure high-yield cargo and maximize revenue.
