Everland's summer nights shine with fireflies and wild beasts

Everland, South Korea's largest theme park, is drawing crowds with its unique summer night attractions. The 'Midsummer Night Firefly Festival' offers visitors a chance to observe thousands of fireflies in a specially designed habitat, complete with themed photo zones and camping ambiance. Since its opening, the festival has attracted approximately 30,000 visitors in just 15 days.

Complementing the fireflies, the 'Summer Night Safari' allows guests to witness large predators like lions, tigers, and bears in their nocturnal environment. This attraction has proven highly popular, drawing about 120,000 visitors in its first 50 days. The park has made this safari free and uses quiet electric buses with engaging commentary to enhance the immersive experience.

Adding to the summer festivities, Everland is also hosting its 'Water Festival,' featuring a 'Bam Bam Summer Night' water DJ party with K-pop and EDM. A multimedia fireworks show and a 'Moonlight Parade' are also part of the entertainment. To accommodate more visitors, the park will extend its operating hours until 11 p.m. for three consecutive nights during the Liberation Day holiday, offering special discounted night tickets.
