Everland's twin pandas, Rui and Hui, become regional tourism ambassadors with 'Panda Grandpa'

Everland's beloved twin pandas, Rui and Hui, are embarking on a new mission as regional tourism ambassadors. Alongside their devoted zookeeper, Kang Cheol-won, affectionately known as 'Panda Grandpa,' they will participate in a nationwide campaign to promote local attractions.

The campaign, titled 'Rui and Hui's Corners of Korea,' is a collaboration between Everland and the Korea Tourism Organization. It aims to leverage the immense popularity of the Bao family pandas to increase recognition of domestic tourist destinations and encourage public visits. The initiative will span six regions across the country, with content showcasing each area's unique charm to be released sequentially on the Korea Tourism Organization's 'Korea Tour' platform and Everland's official YouTube channel, 'Pooppa TV.'

Zookeeper Kang Cheol-won will personally visit famous landmarks and local festivals with plush dolls of Rui and Hui, adding a personal touch to the promotional efforts. The campaign will also highlight cost-effective travel tips, such as the 'Digital Tourist Pass' and 'Half-Price Travel,' to provide tangible benefits to travelers. To further incentivize exploration, themed merchandise, starting with 'Rui-Hui Gochang Watermelon Bread' for the Jeolla region, will be available. A stamp rally event will also be held, offering prizes to those who collect stamps from at least two regions, with special rewards for those who complete all six.
