Everton battles back with 10 men to draw with Audax Italiano

Audax Italiano opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a penalty converted by Franco Troyansky, following a handball by Everton's Oscar Opazo that was confirmed by VAR. The situation worsened for the home team when Hugo Magallanes received a second yellow card for an elbow on Paolo Guajardo in the 33rd minute, leaving Everton to play with 10 men.

Despite the disadvantage, Everton fought back in the second half. Emiliano Ramos scored the equalizer in the 54th minute with a long-range shot, securing the final result. This draw brings Everton's total to 27 points, placing them fourth in the standings.

Everton is set to host Universidad de Concepción on August 24. Audax Italiano, with 21 points in thirteenth place, remains close to the relegation zone and will face bottom-placed Unión La Calera on August 21.
