The match is on track for a sell-out, reflecting the growing "rugby league fever" sweeping the city. Excitement is mounting for the Bears' inaugural campaign, fueled by the signing of key players like Storm stars Nick Meaney and Tyran Wishart, who will join the club from 2027. Morgan Smithies was also announced as a new signing on Thursday.
