Exiled Palestinian official walks back Jared Kushner ceasefire claim as Israeli strikes hit Gaza

The updated post emphasized that the success of any agreement now depended on Israel's full commitment to ending its daily attacks. Separately, a Board of Peace official walked back claims that disarmament had already commenced.

Adding to the conflicting reports, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen stated that Israel would continue its military operations in Gaza. Cohen, a member of the security cabinet, denied any agreement to end the assault and expressed support for a complete military takeover of the Strip. He indicated that Israel is moving towards full control, aiming to reach "100%."
