Expatriates: Raki Aouani in Gyor FC's sights

Tunisian attacking midfielder Raki Aouani, who joined Riga FC earlier this year, may soon be on the move again. Hungarian club Gyor FC has submitted an offer of 700,000 euros for the player, but Riga FC is holding firm on its valuation, demanding one million euros.

The transfer discussions are currently stalled over the additional fee requested by Aouani's current employer. Riga FC acquired Aouani, a former standout for Etoile Sportive du Sahel, for 270,000 euros, despite his contract extending until June 2026. Gyor FC, the reigning Hungarian champions, had the opportunity to scout Aouani during recent European qualifiers, impressing the club's management.

In other Tunisian football news, midfielder Ellyes Skhiri, 31, is reportedly nearing a transfer back to his former club Cologne. While Cologne and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed on a transfer fee for Skhiri, negotiations are ongoing regarding his salary demands, as he seeks over two million euros annually. Meanwhile, winger Sebastien Tounekti recently scored and assisted in Celtic Glasgow's Scottish Cup victory, and forward Khalil Ayari earned a penalty for USL Dunkerque in France's Ligue 2.
