Explosions Rock Konarak, Ahvaz and Near Bandar Abbas as U.S. Strikes Continue

Southern Iran experienced a series of explosions on Wednesday, coinciding with intensified U.S. military operations targeting Iranian positions. The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency reported two blasts in Konarak, southeastern Iran, accompanied by the sound of U.S. fighter jets overhead.

In the southwest, the semi-official Mehr news agency documented an explosion in Ahvaz. Khuzestan's deputy governor confirmed four locations in the province had been attacked, though specific details remained scarce. Mehr also reported U.S. projectiles hitting an area near the strategic port city of Bandar Abbas, which overlooks the Strait of Hormuz.
