Expo 2027 selects supplier for 14 million dinar protective equipment contract

Expo 2027 has awarded a contract for the supply of protective equipment to Vatrex Rescue d.o.o. Beograd Zemun, a company based in Belgrade.

The value of the concluded agreement stands at 11,638,200 Serbian dinars excluding VAT, totaling 13,965,840 dinars with VAT. The scope of the procurement includes the delivery of protective and safety equipment intended to outfit the Expo 2027 location. This measure is designed to ensure the operational readiness of the site and its response teams for handling emergencies during the preparation and execution of the specialized exhibition.

Danilo Jerinić, director of EXPO 2027 doo Beograd, emphasized the importance of safety for all participants, staff, and visitors. "The safety of participants, employees, and visitors is one of the key priorities in the preparation of the specialized exhibition Expo 2027 Belgrade. By procuring protective equipment, we are further strengthening our capacity for timely response in emergency situations and continuing to systematically build the conditions for organizing one of the largest international events in this part of Europe," Jerinić stated.

Vatrex Rescue d.o.o. was registered in 2018 and operates as a company for domestic and foreign trade. According to 2025 data, the company reported revenues of 287,714,000 dinars and expenses of 268,431,000 dinars. The firm currently employs six people. Aleksandra Bogunović is listed as the company's director.
