F1 Abu Dhabi to be held as per scheduled calendar, confirms Formula One CEO

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is set to take place as planned from December 3 to 6 at the Yas Marina Circuit. This event will mark the end of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship season. Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, affirmed that preparations for hosting the season finale in Abu Dhabi are progressing smoothly, reinforcing the championship's commitment to its established calendar. Domenicali noted that Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the season's conclusion in an exceptional atmosphere, complemented by a comprehensive program of accompanying events and experiences. Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, highlighted that hosting Formula 1 since 2009 underscores the emirate's global standing and its capacity to attract major international sporting events. He added that the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix significantly enhances Abu Dhabi's allure as a global destination, supports the tourism, hospitality, and events sectors, and draws visitors.
