Facundo Moyano Posts Religious Image on Social Media After Girlfriend Scandal

Former Peronist deputy Facundo Moyano has resurfaced on social media with a religiously themed post following a public scandal involving his girlfriend, Candela Arizaga. The incident occurred when Arizaga was found semi-nude in the streets of Belgrano. Moyano's recent Instagram post features a photo of a rosary in his hand, accompanied by an emoji of joined hands, a gesture often associated with prayer or gratitude. This social media activity comes shortly after a judicial decision that denied Moyano's request to lift a restraining order previously placed on Arizaga. The prosecutor's office cited a lack of sufficient evidence to revoke the order, which was initially imposed after Moyano was charged with minor assault and unlawful deprivation of liberty. The restraining order mandates a 300-meter distance between Moyano and Arizaga, as well as prohibiting contact. Arizaga, who was taken to the hospital after the incident, reportedly told authorities she experienced a "psychotic break" after consuming cocaine and expressed a desire to reconcile with Moyano. The legal proceedings continue as the court assesses the evidence.
