Family and Friends Mourn Slain Influencer César Gastélum in Sinaloa

Family and friends gathered in Culiacán, Sinaloa, to bid a final farewell to content creator César Gastélum. The wake was marked by numerous floral arrangements, particularly red roses, bearing messages from influencers and local artists who knew him. The atmosphere was somber as loved ones remembered the young creator.

Gastélum was tragically killed on the evening of August 4 while broadcasting live on a social media platform. The family requested privacy during the funeral ceremony, which took place at a funeral home in the state capital. The Sinaloa Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case as a homicide, seeking to identify the two individuals believed to be responsible for the attack.

One significant floral tribute came from Alejandro Fierro, a companion who witnessed the attack. Fierro, along with another young man, saw two assailants on a motorcycle approach Gastélum. The message from Fierro expressed his affection for the deceased influencer. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to piece together the events leading to Gastélum's death.

Following the services in Culiacán, Gastélum's remains are scheduled to be transported to Guamúchil. It is there that his family and close friends will lay him to rest. The community mourns the loss of a young talent whose life was cut short under violent circumstances.
