Family of Greek pilot killed in crash pursues legal action

The family of a Greek helicopter pilot, Aristotelis, who tragically lost his life in a mid-air collision over Porto Germeno, is taking legal action. The pilot died while engaged in operations when his Bell helicopter crashed after colliding with another aircraft.

His mother and sister have instructed their legal representatives to initiate all necessary legal proceedings before the Athens Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance. The mother and sister of the tragically deceased hero – Greek pilot of the Bell-type helicopter operating in the Porto Germeno area, have instructed our law firm to take all necessary legal actions before the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Athens, through the Directorate of Organized Crime, in order to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the untimely death of their son and brother Aristotelis and to punish those responsible.

The legal office stated that a formal complaint will be filed against any individual whose actions or omissions contributed to the "homicide" of the pilot. They described him as one of their most capable pilots, who fought with self-sacrifice in recent days to save lives and property.
