Fan whose reaction went viral: 'Proud they caught that moment'

A Croatian fan named Marina has become an internet sensation after her dramatic reaction to a disallowed goal during Croatia's World Cup match against Portugal went viral. The incident occurred during the Round of 16 match, which Croatia ultimately lost.

As soon as I saw that last goal, when they went for that VAR... I watched, and simply, my sister and I looked at each other and said 'It's over, they'll find something'.

Marina's frustration peaked when VAR overturned Joško Gvardiol's late equalizer. Her raw emotional outburst, captured on video and including an expletive directed at the decision, quickly spread across social media platforms. She shared her experience in a podcast, explaining that she and her sister had a premonition the VAR check would go against them.

We had that feeling, not just my sister and I, but probably 60 or 70 percent of the fans. And, unfortunately, that's what happened.
