Father confesses to murdering his 12-year-old son in Argentina

A father in Rafael Calzada, Argentina, has confessed to the murder of his 12-year-old son, Nahuel. Néstor Godoy, 41, surrendered to police and is now detained on charges of aggravated homicide.

Godoy, who was active in rock music and played bass in tribute bands, had previously expressed deep affection for his son on social media. Posts showed him celebrating the boy's birthday and remarking on their father-son similarities. However, the boy's mother, Cristina M., stated that Godoy had threatened to kill their son as revenge.

She reported these threats to the police 48 hours before the alleged murder but claims her report was not taken. The child lived with his mother and was with his father for a scheduled weekend visit when the crime occurred.
