FC Augsburg Begins Preseason Training for Bundesliga Season

FC Augsburg is commencing its preparation for the upcoming 16th Bundesliga season. Coach Manuel Baum will lead the team through internal performance checks and medical examinations before their official public training session.

The team has a total of six friendly matches planned. Their first exhibition game is scheduled for July 18th at the Rosenaustadion against a Swabian selection. From August 1st to August 8th, Augsburg will hold a training camp in Achenkirch, Austria.

A significant test before the competitive season begins will be their match on August 15th against Premier League club Leeds United, managed by Daniel Farke. This encounter will provide a stern challenge for Baum's squad.

Augsburg's DFB-Pokal journey starts on August 22nd against second-division returnees FC Energie Cottbus. The Bundesliga season will then officially kick off a week later, marking the beginning of their new campaign.
