FC Nordsjælland loans out speedy Ivorian winger Levy Nene

Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland is trimming its offensive lineup by loaning out the fast-paced Ivorian winger Levy Nene to Swiss side FC Lausanne-Sport for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old attacker has demonstrated a knack for scoring when given opportunities, netting three goals and providing two assists in 259 minutes of play during the championship phase last spring.

FC Nordsjælland's Football Director, Alexander Riget, expressed confidence in Nene's abilities but acknowledged the player's need for increased game time to foster his development. "There is no doubt that Levy Nene is a skilled goal scorer. He has proven this in both training and matches since he joined FC Nordsjælland from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana in the summer of 2024," Riget stated.

Riget further explained that the club's strong competition for offensive positions this season meant that a loan move was the most suitable step for Nene's continued growth. "We have, fortunately, very strong competition for the offensive places on our Superliga team this season, and therefore all parties agreed that the best step for Levy's continued development would be a loan where he can get the playing time he needs," the FCN director added.

In total, Nene has played 48 first-team matches for FC Nordsjælland, scoring 12 goals. His move to Switzerland is intended to provide him with the consistent playing time necessary to further hone his skills and potentially return as a more developed player.
