FeiJie's Edge AI Push Drives May Revenue to 8-Year High

Industrial computer manufacturer 6206 (FeiJie) achieved a significant milestone in May, with revenue reaching NT$631 million. This figure represents a 1.6% decrease from the previous month but a substantial 45% increase year-on-year, marking the highest revenue for the month since 2018. For the first five months of the year, cumulative revenue stands at NT$2.782 billion, up 24% compared to the same period last year.

FeiJie is actively redefining its role in the smart terminal market by adopting a "full-store, full-scenario penetration" strategy. This involves increasing the allocation of hardware and computing power within individual stores. The company's product portfolio has evolved from traditional point-of-sale (POS) systems and kiosks to include kitchen display systems (KDS), Box PCs for computing power, and artificial intelligence (AI) software applications. This year, FeiJie also officially entered the payment market. The strong May performance was boosted by new payment terminal orders from a major U.S. client and growth from its European subsidiary, BOXTEC.

The company observes a rapid increase in demand for "on-premise computing", solutions that operate reliably in offline environments, driven by global labor shortages and the push for automation and unmanned operations. Industries such as food service, retail, and general services require robust computing platforms capable of supporting diverse software and AI applications. FeiJie is leveraging its expertise in customized hardware design and its long-standing presence in the commercial market to capture these opportunities. At the recent COMPUTEX 2026, FeiJie showcased its integrated payment solutions, including POS terminals, self-service kiosks, and handheld payment devices, supporting various payment methods like NFC, QR code scanning, and card transactions.
