Ferrari driver killed, woman injured in Victoria crash

A man has died and a woman is in a stable condition in hospital following a serious car crash involving a Ferrari in West Gippsland, Victoria. The incident occurred yesterday on Main Neerim Road in Neerim South, north of Warragul.

The high-performance sports car was reportedly traveling along the road when it collided with a tree and overturned around midday. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene and worked to extract the two occupants from the wreckage.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His female passenger, who is in her 70s, sustained life-threatening injuries to her upper body. She was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital and is currently reported to be in a stable condition.

Victoria Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information, particularly from individuals who may have dash-cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.
