Fred Vasseur, the principal of the Ferrari Formula 1 team, will not be present for the qualifying session of the Monaco Grand Prix. The team announced that Vasseur is currently undergoing observation at a local medical facility following a series of medical examinations.

Ferrari released a brief official statement regarding Vasseur's absence. "Fred Vasseur will not be present on the track today. After several medical examinations, Fred will remain under observation in a local medical facility. No further medical information will be provided," the statement read. The team also conveyed their well wishes, adding, "We wish Fred a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on track soon."

Vasseur, 58, has led the Ferrari team since 2023. Prior to his role at Ferrari, he held similar leadership positions with Renault, Sauber, and Alfa Romeo. His absence comes at a critical juncture in the racing season, particularly for the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.
