Feyenoord seeks to extend Targhalline's contract by two seasons

Dutch football club Feyenoord is actively pursuing a contract extension for Moroccan midfielder Oussama Targhalline. The club aims to secure his services for two additional seasons, extending his current deal, which runs until June 2028, to the summer of 2030. This move highlights Feyenoord's confidence in Targhalline's abilities and his significant contributions since joining the team in the winter transfer window of 2025 from French club Le Havre for less than half a million euros.

Reports from Dutch media outlets, including Fr12 and Voetbal Primeur, indicate that negotiations are ongoing, with a new meeting expected soon to finalize an agreement. Feyenoord's proactive approach stems from Targhalline's remarkable development and his establishment as a key player in the midfield. The club's management is eager to retain him and fend off interest from other clubs.

Targhalline's market value has surged to 16 million euros, according to Transfermarkt, reflecting his consistent strong performances for Feyenoord. The 24-year-old has played 39 matches for the first team across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists. He also made one appearance for the U21 team. Prior to his move to the Netherlands, he played three matches for Olympique Marseille's first team before joining Le Havre.
