FG vows stability as Yakubu Gowon varsity honours three

The Federal Government, through the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has pledged sustained investment and improved welfare to bolster the education sector. This commitment was reiterated at the recent combined convocation of the University of Abuja, now named Yakubu Gowon University, where a significant number of postgraduate students received their degrees.

The university celebrated the academic achievements of 4,573 postgraduate students and conferred honorary doctorate degrees upon distinguished individuals, including Dr. Paul Odili, Prof. Yusuf Ali, SAN, and Emmanuel Iza. These accolades recognize their substantial contributions to their respective fields and to society at large.
