FIFA Portal Relists World Cup Tickets at Sky-High Prices, Angering England Fans

England fans are encountering staggering price hikes for World Cup tickets intended for the last-16 match against Mexico. Tickets initially secured by members of the England Supporters' Travel Club via a December ballot have reappeared on FIFA's official resale portal at prices reaching thousands of pounds.

The Football Supporters' Association (FSA) has strongly condemned the practice, accusing FIFA of deliberately designing an exchange that allows for vastly inflated prices. The FSA highlighted that FIFA profits by taking a 15% commission from both the buyer and the seller on these resales. While condemning FIFA's actions, the FSA also criticized supporters who choose to resell their tickets at such exorbitant rates.
