Figure skating stars to appear in 'Solo Leveling on Ice' show

South Korea's top figure skaters are set to grace the ice for a special show titled 'Solo Leveling on Ice,' bringing the popular web novel and webtoon to life.

Producers Live Arena announced the full cast for the upcoming production, which is based on the fantasy story of Sung Jin-woo, a weak hunter who awakens as a shadow monarch and levels up. Following its successful premiere last year, the show will return for a limited run from August 7 to 17 at the Mokdong Ice Rink.

Headlining the cast are figure skating stars Cha Jun-hwan and Kim Ye-lim, who have both previously announced their participation. They will be joined by fellow national team members Lee Si-hyung and Kyung Jae-seok, among others. Kim Ye-lim will portray Cha Hae-in, a hunter of the highest rank known as a "female warrior." Lee Si-hyung will take on the role of Igrit, Sung Jin-woo's first shadow soldier, while Shin Seok-soo will play Yoo Jin-ho, Sung Jin-woo's loyal guild member.

Cha Jun-hwan himself will embody Sung Jin-woo, the protagonist who transforms from humanity's weakest hunter into the strongest. Other cast members include Kwon Chae-won, formerly of the group DIA, as Sung Jin-ah, Sung Jin-woo's sister, and Amy as Lee Ju-hee, a B-class healer and Jin-woo's only companion during his E-class days.

The ice show promises a unique blend of athletic prowess and captivating storytelling, drawing fans of both figure skating and the immensely popular 'Solo Leveling' franchise.
