Filipino Expat Arrested After $21,000 Armed Robbery at Kuwait Exchange Branch

Kuwait's Criminal Security Sector has apprehended a Filipino national suspected of carrying out an armed robbery at a money exchange branch in the Shaab area. The arrest followed intensive search and investigation operations by the General Department of Criminal Investigation.

According to security reports, the incident occurred when an unidentified masked individual entered the exchange office. Employees reported that the suspect, who appeared to be carrying a weapon, threatened staff and assaulted several individuals. He then accessed a restricted area and fled with approximately 21,000 Kuwaiti dinars in various currencies.
