Taiwanese finance anchor Chiu Tzu-ling announced her departure from Sanlih TV on August 16, marking the end of a decade-long tenure. She humorously referred to her departure as a "glorious graduation."

Chiu, who playfully calls herself "Earthbound Ling," reflected on her ten years at Sanlih, describing the station as a rich source of nourishment for her career. Her journey included roles as a frontline reporter, an outdoor travel host, and a presenter for lottery drawings and real estate features. She even made guest appearances on the show "Treasure Island Big Reveal."

She recalled her four years of outdoor reporting as her happiest time at Sanlih, during which she witnessed the vitality of Taiwan's land and the warmth of its people. A producer's suggestion to "report on awards" led her to undertake an in-depth report on the cultural and creative industries, which earned her a journalism award and reinforced her belief in limitless possibilities.

Chiu admitted that leaving behind her "reporter's armor" after fifteen years was difficult. She revealed that last year, during a visit to Tainan, two deities independently advised her to transition her career. This spiritual guidance prompted her decision to leave her comfort zone and pursue a new path with "desperate courage," hoping to forge a new success.
